A Study Of Shi Bi Xing Jian From Three Aspects

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,poetry anthology compilation activity is very frequent.Shi Bi Xing Jian,as one of them,is fed up with the issue of copyright disputes in a long time.Until recently,the academic community was able to clarify that the author of this book is Wei Yuan.As an anthology of ancient poems which reflects Wei Yuan's poetics,Shi Bi Xing Jian selects and explains a large number of Bi –Xing style poetry,which was wrote in the Han Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty.Compared with other versions of poetry,the book has a small number of selected poems,but it is very characteristic.In this paper,the author thinks that Shi Bi Xing Jian pay attention to selected poets' moral character extremely.Whether or not,it depends on poet's moral character.The standard of this kind of selecting Poems is closely related to Wei Yuan's the thoughts of honoring the emperor,emphasis on the moral cultivation of the literary creators and his own strong patriotism.Extensive annotation revealed his understanding of the poem.Wei Yuan used four methods of poetry interpretation in Shi Bi Xing Jian: Wuxiang type,from history to poetry,with the poem interpret poem,with writing interpret poem.In the process of using the method,there are some wrong views,such as regard poem as history,or think that the whole of Wuxiang have some suggestive,give strained interpretations and draw farfetched analogies etc and so on.These misconceptions especially need to pay more attention.Then,in view of the behaviors of Wei Yuan is interested in classical deletion,this article gives some criticism.Think its behavior can not reflect Wei Yuan' bold trade-offs verve,and does nothing to improve classical poetry ideological content and artistic beauty,Although Shi Bi Xing Jian produced 1.5 centuries,but its acceptance process is quite tortuous,and its value and defects are worth exploring.It contains the value is mainly inherits han Confucianism' interpretation of poetry tradition,pay attention to assist the regime.But the defects and deficiencies are extremely outstanding,for example,unreasonable bowdlerize poetry,the drawbacks of annotation,sloppywriting habits,etc.In addition,there is an appendices at the end of this paper.Yuelu Press edition'Shi Bi Xing Jian made some mistakes in the publishing process,the appendix will make partial correction.
