Research On The Artistic Characteristics Of Traditonal Er-ren-tai Scripts And Its Change Of Performing Stages

Er'rentai is mainly popular in the Inner Mongolia,Shanxi,Sh-aanxi,Hebei and some other places.And it has a long history with over 100 years.As a kind of folk drama,Er'rentai always maintains it strong vitality in the stage.One of the important reasons is that it reflects the daily life of the working people and it expresses comm-on people's emotion at the same time.Generally speaking,Er'rentai comes from the folk life and then it is performed among the common people,so it is popular with them.The script is the basic of Er'rentai and it plays an important part in the development of Er'rentai.In 2006,Er'rentai became the first batch of national intangible cultural heritages.As an important part of folk culture,traditional Er'rentai has rich and generous cultural deposits,so it is quite valu-able in modern society.Therefore,the research on Er'rentai scripts has important realistic meaning.From the literature of research objects,most of the research was about Er 'rentai works,there was a little research on its scripts.From the literature of contents,there wasn't any research on relationship between Er'rentai scripts to performance.The anther discusses the artistic features of traditional Er'rentai and its stage transformation according to the study of its scripts,watching its performances and the field investigation.The paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter can be divided into narrative scripts,lyrical scripts and lyrical narrative scripts on the basis of it narrative modes and lyrical characteristics.Narrative scripts reflect the social reality by describing things,events,situations and some other objective facts.This kind of scripts focus on the objectivity and narrative of the contents,such as Zou Xi Kou.Sell Bowls.Borrow Crowns etc.Lyrical scripts include Gua Hong Deng.Wu Ge Fang Yang.Shi Dui Hua etc.They express feeling and attitude and focus on the subjective demands of content.Lyrical narrative scripts has features of both narrative and lyrical ones and the two features are mixed in the works.Chapter two argues the artistic features of the scrips by sorting out and summarizing and contrastive analysis.First of all,we can know that traditional Er'rentai scripts submit to Er'rentai and its performance by contrasting and defining Errentai literature and literary Er'rentai.Second,the paper argues that traditional Er'rentai scripts have to accord with the regularity situational characteristic,virtuality and stylization of its stage performancea according to its traditional artistic features.At lest,by contrasting with novels,drama scripts,poems and some other literature styles,the paper discusses the composition,character,language and other features of traditional Er'rentai scripts.The third chapter discusses the transformation from librettos and spoken parts to songs and dances,from stage prompts to space to play,from plots to smooth rhythm,from adaptation to aesthetic expectation,and from value orientation to aesthetic interest.
