Cheng Jufu,whose original name is wenhai,inorder to avoid the name of wuzong of yuan dynasty,named by Jufu.comes from Jianchang Nancheng,is a famous politician and scholar in the early Yuan Dynasty.His ancestors are from Jingshan Ying Zhou.After the demise of the Song Dynasty,Jufu was appreciated by the emperor,and began to be an official.From the beginning of 1276 as Hanlin official,he as an official for over 40 years.He is very honest,and actively give advice to the emperor and seek opportunity for south young scholars.There are thirty volumes of Xue Lou collected works,bringing together the poems and articles of his life,which are rich in content,involving the political,economic and social lives of the Yuan Dynasty.It provides much valuable historical data for the study of the Yuan Dynasty.Especially the tablet which relates to many important people of yuan dynasty,can make up for lack of the Yuan.It is widely spread because of the high value of the literature.The common version has Ming Hongwu edition,The Si Ku Quan Shu edition,Taoshi photocopy,Jilin literature publishing house checking edition.Cheng Jufu never give lectures,but he has unique understanding on literature,education,and other aspects of management.In a word,his academic thought has the characteristics of pragmatic.
