| As junior students presented quick stage of physiological and psychological changes,their emotional experience did not have the stability of the adults,which showed contradictory characteristics of semi-mature and semi-childish.Because of lack in immature personality and relative emotion regulation and control,junior students were prone to suffer from anger and other negative emotions,resulting in lack of proper manner to handle or solve things,which affected them to bear great physical and mental pressure and disturb the normal study and life.Therefore,reasonably dealing with anger for junior students is of great importance to establish good interpersonal relationship and social support system,to achieve mental health development.However,previous researches in terms of anger mainly worked on students,adolescents,nurses and drivers,but that on junior students was less.On the research methods of anger,it mainly conducted the questionnaire survey,but there is a lack of experimental research.In terms of intervention manners,it mainly relied on education and training,group counseling was rare.Therefore,it had a realistic significance to discuss the effect on anger to anger expression styles and mental health of junior students in the form of group counseling,not only to enrich anger related research,but also to enhance the level of junior students’ mental health.In this context this study used group counseling,adopting the experimental-control group before and after the experiment design.The junior students were used as the research object,including the experimental group(18),the control Group A(16),the control Group B(17).The experimental group accepted anger group counseling,the Group A accepted general group counseling,and the Group B did not accept any processing.Accepting the experimental subjects before and after treatment,we used the SCL-90 and the sub-questionnaires of State-Trait anxiety Inventory(STAI)by Liu Huijun and Gao Hongmei(2012),that were trait anger questionnaire and anger expressions questionnaire.After 8 times counseling,the research showed that:(1)Anger group counseling effectively improved junior students’ anger expression styles and mental health.(2)Group counseling had a positive influence on junior students’ mental health,such as interpersonal sensitivity,anxiety and hostility,but there is no significant impact on anger expression styles.(3)Through experimental group and control Group A and control Group B of variance analysis and multiple comparison,it proved that anger group counseling had a better role in promoting junior students’ anger expression styles and mental health.In the other word,to promote junior students’ anger expression styles and mental health,the anger group counseling was feasible and effective.At last,make an analysis to the insufficient of this research and provide some proposals for the future. |
