Junior high school students are in a stage of rapid physiological and psychological development.Their emotional experiences show semi-mature and semi-mature contradictory characteristics.When they are under pressure from negative events,it is often difficult to state their feelings or ideas.Showing direct hostile speech or impulsive behavioral responses.Therefore,under such circumstances,it is easy for them to feel physical and psychological pressure and affect their learning and life.Therefore,whether or not effective emotional awareness has important practical significance for junior high school students in dealing with interpersonal conflicts and conflicts,balancing life and learning,and obtaining psychological and all aspects of healthy development.However,most of the previous research objects related to emotional awareness were children,undergraduates,graduate students,counselors,pre-service teachers,.mental and physical diseases,offenders,and police officers.There was relatively little research on junior middle school students;in terms of intervention methods,education and training were usually used.There were relatively few tutorials.Therefore,this study used junior middle school students as the research object,and explores the effects of emotional awareness group counseling on emotional awareness and mental health through interventions of group counseling.This not only enriched relevant theoretical research on emotional awareness,but also provided education for mental health in primary and secondary schools.Work had certain reference significance.In this context,this study used junior high school students from a middle school in Changsha as the research object,conducted emotional-aware group counseling interventions,and used the experimental group-control group before and after the experiment designs,including the experimental group(18),the control Group A(16),the control Group B(17).In the research design,the experimental group conducted emotional awareness group counseling,the control group A conducted general group counseling,and the control group B had no intervention.Before and after the official implementation of the experiment,the "Emotional Attention" subscale and the"Emotional Discrimination" subscale in Chinese Mental Health Scale for Middle School Students and TMMS were compiled by Wang Jisheng(1997).check.After 8 times counseling,the study.showed:(1)Emotion awareness group counseling could effectively improve junior high school students' emotion awareness ability and mental health level;(2)Group activity had a positive effect on the mental health of junior middle school students through hostility,interpersonal sensitivity and anxiety,but the impact on emotional awareness was not significant;(3)The analysis of variance and multiple comparisons between the experimental group and the control group showed that emotional awareness group counseling had a better promotion effect on junior high school students' emotional awareness ability and mental health level than group activities.Finally,some shortcomings of this study were analyzed,and related suggestions for future research directions were put forward.
