Expressionism,an art movement that originated in northern Europe in the early twentieth Century,first appeared in the fine arts,and was later developed in the fields of music,literature,drama and film.As a trend of thought,it reflects the political,economic,cultural and social background of the specific historical stage,and has far-reaching influence.And the visual art of the period has a high degree of aesthetic pursuit,similar forms of expression.Especially under the influence of the social background and aesthetic trend of thought at that time,they learn from each other and develop together.In music theory,the research on the sense of seeing and hearing art began to turn to the study of the deep structure from the angle of aesthetics.It can be said that the trend of expressionism has played an important role in the development of art.Kandinsky and Schoenberg is a representative figure in the visual art of expressionism,with aesthetic pursuit and creative ideas are very similar between the two,and in the visual art has done a lot of trying to blend.One of the main characteristics of expressionism is the multiplicity of the artist's identity,which is one of the reasons for the frequent interaction between the Arts in this period.The main identity of Schoenberg is the composer but also a painter;the main identity of Kandinsky is a painter,knowledgeable and proficient in music.Schoenberg held an exhibition in 1910,when he became attached to the invitation to join the main representative of the main character of the association of the "Blue Knight society","the society of the blue knight" of the society of the people of the Republic of China,held in the exhibition of art in Vienna,was invited to join".During the period,they cooperate with each other and influence each other.This paper focuses on the comparison between Schoenberg's and Kandinsky's creative ideas and creative thinking in art,and his influence on his music creation.
