This is an article about analysis of Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky's art research during the year of 1896 to 1911 in Munich.Wassily Kandinsky(1866-1944)is one of the first painters who explore abstract art,and his artistic style is constantly innovational.During the year of 1896 to 1911,Kandinsky realized the transformation from figurative art into abstract art.Kandinsky's early artistic style is influenced by his early art education,impressionism in Germany,German Secession and contemporaneous French modernist artists.Kandinsky's evolution is based on Bavarian folk arts and traditional Russian icon painting during the days in Murnau."Jugendstil",the arts and crafts movement of Munich symbolism,also influences Kandinsky's artwork."Phalanx" exhibition association is a prelude to "Der Blaue Reiter".There is no artist at the beginning of art.Artist arose since the Renaissance,and they have become more and more important in the artistic creation with the continuous revolution of art.The classical art,which focuses on the imitation of nature,is an exploration of the outside world.Contemporary art is to explore the inner world.Modern art falls between two eras.Kandinsky had completed the transition from the outside to the interior.That is why Kandinsky's artworks are epoch-making.Kandinsky's theory of artistic creation have a lot of enlightening and guiding significance,it is helpful to understand the relationship figurative art into abstract art.
