The Study Of Chongqing Banggu Dance In Terms Of Its Artistic Characterization As Well As Its Inheritance And Protection

Chongqing Banggu dance produced in the Jielong town,Chongqing City.It is anbehavioral performance,in one case that was used by ancient to pursue and attack beasts in order to protect the crops from being destroyed;in the other case that was used by beggar for attracting attentions from others.This type of drum dance is famous for it props and accompaniment instruments,and it is a folk dance with local characteristics.Chongqing Banggu dance was included in the Chongqing Intangible cultural heritage protection directory in 2014.This dissertation is to provide a theoretical supplement foritsinheritance and protection system.Hopefully,it is possible to attract more attention on this historic Bayu folk culture andto manifest its cultural value.On the basis of previous research,this dissertation analyzes the basic form,development status and performance of Banggu dance,via anthropological field investigation method.Additionally,deep investigation was carried out for its inheritance,protection and development process,by the means of literature method,interview method and logic analysis method ect.Afterwards,related problems existing in this protection procedure was discussed and some solutions for the problems were proposed accordingly.Four major chapters are introduced in this dissertation.The first chapter – the origin and development of Chongqing Banggu dance,involves five stages which are embryotic,forming,developing and spreading and sublimating stage;In second chapter –action exhibition and dynamic characteristicsof Chongqing Banggu danceanalysisthe tread,kick,jump,twist,turn and other action characteristics as well asthe stability,twist,pretty,beautiful and other dynamic characteristics.The third chapter – the artistic characteristics of Chongqing Banggu dance,summarized the simple dance style,the integration of music and dance and close-life style.The fourth chapter – the inheritance and protectionof Chongqing Banggu dance,discussed the problems from the inheritance and protection,such as the living environment constraints,inheritance constraints,less government support etc.In addition,some strategies like improving the society level and benefits for the passers and entertainers and increase publicity efforts,are proposed.This thesis starts from the superficial morphology of Chongqing Banggu dance then gradually deepens into its fundamental structure,afterwards,discusses its function and impact on the development of society,consequently,exposesthe consideration of its inheritance and protection.
