With the development of the Lexical Chunk Theory and continuous deepening of its research,value and function of the theory for the acquisition of Chinese by foreign students are gradually recognized.But the TCSL has not yet included in the teaching system.On the basis of Western Lexical Chunk Theory,based on the previous research findings,this paper redefines and divides the Chinese Lexical chunks according to the characteristics of Chinese language.In this paper,the American international students in the middle and advanced level are selected as research object,chosen part of the essay of these students.According to the classification of Chinese Lexical chunk,this paper classifies and counts the Lexical chunk and Lexical chunk errors used in corpus and summaries the types of Lexical chunk errors.As to the reason for it,this paper explores and analyzes the five aspects of the negative transfer of native language,negative transfer of target language,negative transfer of cultural factors,learning and communicative strategies,and the influence of learning environment.Finally,based on the results of Lexical chunk errors in middle and advanced American international students,this paper puts forward some suggestions on teaching,such as writing materials,classroom teaching and student learning which combine Lexical chunk theory and Lexical chunk teaching method.Hoping to have some reference for Chinese Lexical chunk teaching and Lexical chunk acquisition,so as to help the middle and advanced American international students in the output of Chinese can be more fluent,accurate and authentic.
