The Research Of The Origin Of Su Shi’s Calligraphy Style And Its Influence

Su Shi,born in Meishan,Sichuan province,is a landmark figure who created genres in the Chinese calligraphic history,the formation of the calligraphy style of "nature adoration and outside statutes" was influenced by the Su clan’s cultural heritage of Meishan and the great environment of the political,economic and cultural prosperity in the Northern Song Dynasty,and accompanied by Su Shi’s knowledge,accomplishment,experience constantly enrich and improve which is a gradual process.One of the most important things is the critical type of inheritance and development of Wang Xizhi,Yan Zhenqing,Yang Ningshi,Li Yong and other mainstream calligraphers.Besides,what is more important is that it was a combination of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,which also worked on the inheritance and innovation of the theory of calligraphy art,and finally integrated his bold and unconstrained of life experience into the"discarding the old thought and knowledge" and "accepting the new art theory" change,embodied in the practice of calligraphy art,formed its own unique and attractive style of the calligraphy style.Concrete study results are as follows:(1)Combined with the cultural and artistic atmosphere of Su Shi’s early life,and his art style of the division of the study,exploring the origin of its calligraphy techniques.(2)Through the appreciation of Su Shi’s handed down works during his life experience in four historical periods,carding the development of his calligraphy art style.(3)Studying Su Shi’s calligraphy works,the theory on the patriarchal and Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism from books,digging its calligraphy art theory and ideological connotation.(4)Elaborating the far-reaching influence of Su Shi’s writing style to the later generations and the practical significance of the innovation in calligraphy art to the world.
