Research On Marriage Reform In The South Hebei Anti-Japanese Base Area

Marriage reform is one of the important contents of modern social democratic reform.During the war of resistance against Japan,Ji'nan was actively responding to the Party 's policy and implemented a series of marriage reform policies according to the rural marriage situation in southern Hebei.Ji'nan carried out a more in-depth change on the old marriage system,the concept of marriage and marriage etiquette.According to the new marriage policy and marriage regulations,combined with the specific practice of rural marriage in southern Hebei,Ji'nan formulated the principle of implementing the new marriage regulations and the handling of marital problems,and actively promoted the judicial practice of marriage reform.The marriage reform in the southern part of the country and the women's movement complement each other.The grassroots organizations,especially the women's salvation society,advocated the concept of new marriage and the reform of the backward marriage concept and marriage customs,and fully supported the anti-Japanese war at the same time.Ji Nan had a useful exploration on the construction of a new type of marriage.However,due to the special environment of war,the marriage reform in southern Hebei had faced a great dilemma.Even so,the rural marriage reform in southern Hebei still achieved certain results,which laid the foundation for the new Chinese marriage legislation.This paper intending to take the rural areas in southern Hebei as an example,take the marriage reform policy of the base areas in the Anti-Japanese War period as the main line,explores the marriage reform under the special social background of China,analyzes the changes of marriage ethics during the war of resistance against Japan,and then examines the inheritance and development of modern Chinese marriage legislation to provide reference to the modern marriage system.
