A Comparative Study On The Visual Image Of Xianshi Town And Aiye Town Of Zigong City

With the vigorous development of ancient town tourism in China and consumers' continuous pursuit of personalized consumption,actively creating perfect visual image of ancient towns is the most intuitive and effective way to show those towns' historic culture and regional culture.Zigong,as a city with a long history,has a lot of ancient towns,and the visual image of the local towns is in urgent need of further improvement and development.It is based on this situation,this paper takes Zigong's two most characteristic towns,Xianshi town and Aiye town as an example.Through investigation and comparative research of them,complex phenomenon of visual art and cultural essence are explored,and a reference for the visual image of other ancient towns is provided.This paper mainly focuses on the following aspects.Firstly,the paper introduces the conception of visual image of ancient towns and the basic background information of Xianshi town and Aiye town.The second part is a detailed comparative study of the visual image of the two ancient towns from the following aspects: the overall image of the space,graphic space image and other media present.Thirdly,the paper finds out the forming factors of the visual image of Xianshi town and Aiye town,points out the common and individual problems in their visual image design,and according to the problems to find the appropriate solution.Fourthly,a parallel of theoretical research and design practice is adopted,Aiye town is set as an example,to carry out design exploration practice.The demands of the two towns' visual image design are taken into consideration.A set of suitable visual image designing plan for Aiye town is formed,which combines geographical,historical and cultural characteristics.I hope that through this study,the paper can give some advice and suggestions for the development of the visual image design of Xianshi town and Aiye town,produce acomplete set of design plans for Aiye town,and provide reference for the government.This paper can also make up for the lack of the relevant theoretical research,and provide some academic support for the research of the visual image of ancient towns.
