Four Literary Eminences' Acceptance Of Li Bai In Hongzheng Period Of Ming Dynasty

With Li Bai's rising status in the Ming Dynasty,more people admire and follow him.The four literary eminences in Hongzheng period make outstanding literary achievement in the middle of Ming Dynasty.Their poetry creations learn a lot from the former poets.Taking “Essay only in Qin and Han Dynasties,poetry only in prosperous Tang Dynasty" as the literary concept,their poetry creation learn most from prosperous Tang Dynasty.Thus,Li Bai,as a symbol of the voice of prosperous Tang Dynasty,naturally becomes one of their imitation and follow objects.The poetries of the four literary eminences all involve Li Bai and present respect and love emotions.These emotions are similar to their experiences and talent,also closely related to their main proposition: emotion.In the aspect of creation,their poetries,especially seven-word quatrain and Yuefu poetry,show obvious tendency of learning from Li Bai.Most of their poetries present magnificent and uninhibited style as well as elegant features,consisting well with Li Bai's poetries.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,main body and conclusion.The main body is divided into four chapters.The introduction part mainly introduces the present domestic research on the acceptance of Li Bai in the Ming Dynasty,and summarizes that more work is needed because of the present disadvantage.The first chapter in the main body introduces the four literary eminences' acceptance of Li Bai.The second and third chapters mainly discuss their acceptance of Li Bai's poetries.Based these three chapters,the fourth chapter discusses the reason for their acceptance and the corresponding influences on the poetry world in the middle of Ming Dynasty.Their acceptance expands the scope of Li Bai's influence and affects the process of retro movement.Through this paper,it is found that the four literary eminences' acceptance of Li Bai has some unique characteristics.On the one hand,they keep mentioning Li Bai's experience in Xunyang.They have similar life experiences with LiBai,so they appreciate Li Bai over different dynasties.On the other hand,their poetry imitation and creation are partial to Li Bai's seven-word quatrain and Yuefu poetry.This research contributes to the poetry research of the four literary eminences in Hongzheng period and also makes the research on Li Bai's acceptance in Ming Dynastry further improved.
