A Report On The Translation Of The Cross-culture Management Of Enterprises

This report,based on the dictation and translation of a video lecture named Cross-culture Management of Enterprises,describes the translation commission,analyses problems and provides solutions to these problems.The report consists of four parts,which are the general situation of the translation project,the progress of the translation,the solution to translation problems and conclusion of the commission.The general situation of the translation project mainly includes the introduction to this translation project,the information about the speaker and the specific requirements of the translation task.The second part,progress of the translation,includes the specific steps of this translation task.The third part,solution to translation problems,is the cord part in this report.The dictation of the video is the foundation of this part.After analyzing the characteristics of this video,this report studies the English-to Chinese translation of the text about cultural lecture under the principle of skopos theory.And then some solutions are given based on the analysis of the problems appeared during the translation process.The last part is the conclusion.In addition,the significance and limitations of this translation practice are discussed in this part,which may help other people in the translation of similar type of text in some ways.
