A Linguistic Study Of Proverbs In Anhui

Proverb is the collection of experience and lesson that people gain from life,which is hailed as "the flower of wisdom" by the strong knowledge.Anhui province is one of the important prehistoric civilization birthplace of China.As the regional popular culture carrier,the proverbs in this province are the very important resource to study Chinese traditional culture and dialect vocabulary.With Anhui proverbs as the object of the research,widely data collection as the base and combining quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis as the methods,this thesis has made a various angles description and deep analysis to the characteristics of Anhui proverbs.Full-text consists six chapters.Chapter one is the total introduction,Chapter two to five is the body.Chapter six is the conclusion.The first chapter summarizes the proverb research course.It takes an overview of the shortages of predecessors’ proverbs study achievements in Anhui.And then explains the anticipated target,research route,material source and operating methods of this article.The second chapter introduces Anhui proverbs basic characteristics from the content,grammar,form,style,expression,carrier,etc.,Which draw a clear distinction between it and other similar Anhui language phenomenon.The third chapter analysis the Anhui proverbs voice performance from two aspects:Pause and Rhyme.To Pause,by analysis of single-sentence style Anhui proverbs,this chapter reveals the relations between Pause and Anhui proverbs voice performance with the basis of statistical analysis reveals the characteristic.To Rhyme,the relations between it and Anhui proverbs voice performance has been opened by the analysis of double-sentence style Anhui proverbs.The fourth chapter describe and analysis Anhui Proverbs from grammatical form.Points out that the Anhui proverbs includes simple sentence,complex sentence and contract sentence.And simple and complex sentence has dominated the advantage in three sentence styles.Besides,subject predicate sentence takes most of the quantity,non-subject-predicate sentence in few.Fifth chapter analysis the Anhui proverbs perspective of rhetorical expression from frequently used figures of speech and figures of speech application.Frequently used figures of speech includes Metaphor,Antithesis,Analogy,Exaggeration,etc..Figures of speech application contains collocation,dual-purpose and apply mechanically.Chapter 6 makes a conclusion of all the study and research.Here the performance of the anticipated goal will be discussed.We should recognize the achievements and point out the shortage.And make sure the research direction in the future.
