A Study On Gesar Singer Gerurgyalmtsan And His Six Volumes Of Treasure-Revealed Version

This study compares six main characters of "old" version of Gesar Epic with six publications of Gesar Epic written by treasure-revealer((?))Gerurgyalmtsan((?)(?)),and also applies literature review and field study methods to demonstrate what are the differences and unique points that Gerurgyalmtsan's publications have illustrated.It has three sections,which includes introduction,main context and conclusion.In the introduction,it states current research status and significance of this topic from both internationally and nationally,also points out research methods and feasibility that the old version and Gerurgyalmtsan's six of the publications applied.The main context has three chapters;in the first chapter it mainly depicts origin of revealed teaching,its history and the reason why the reaching was revealed,and newly-emerged phenomenon of fake treasure-revealers.In the chapter two,it describes treasure-revealer Gerurgyalmtsan's life,circumstances in which he writes the Gesar Epics,and analyze internal and external factors that made him become a Gesar Storyteller and why he is unique from other Gesar Storytellers.In the chapter three,based on six key characters of the old version of Gesar Epic including its lyrics,storyline,tribe,rhythm,archaism,and rhetoric,and compares it with treasure-reveal er Gerurgyalmtsan's six publications.As conclusion,it illustrates differences between treasure-reveal er Gerurgyalmtsan and others,and discusses more unique features that his publications have.
