The Men's Dance As The Intangible Cultural Heritage

Gong-drumming dance,which is a perfect match of the traditional activity Shehuo,is a common form of folk dance inherited only by male in Wuwei.Major performance troupes of Gong-drumming dance are based in Siba and its peripheral area,and the most famous Gong-drumming dance is "Yang's" of Siba.Gong-drumming dance was listed in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage in 2008,after which people held a great performance in Liangzhou cultural square.A base to inherit and develop Gong-drumming dance was established in Siba town after the successful application for the list of world heritage.The governor selected the inheritors for this art form and took a mass of measures to protect it.However,in recent years,the government paid less attention to Gong-drumming dance,thus Gong-drumming performance only lived in people's memory.Therefore,the protection and inheritance of Gong-drumming dance,which is a intangible cultural heritage,has become more intractable.After visiting the Zhaizi village,Siba town,Liangzhou district,Wuwei city many times,communicating with the head of the government inheritance cultural heritage,the local people and the descendant of the Gong-drumming dance and analyzing and summarizing the present dilemma of Gong-drumming dance,the author found out that the main problem on the heritage of Gong-drumming dance are the misdiagnosis about its value and the improper measures taken by government which decreased the possibility of sustainable development,and lead to a dead end.On that account,at the end of the article,considering the dilemma of the Gong-drumming dance,the author puts forward some pointed advice including setting some institutions to inherit and develop Gong-drumming dance,improving the cultural ecological environment of Gong-drumming dance.Meanwhile,the author believes the policies and plans should be reenacted.Policies and plans like institutionalize the Gong-drumming dance,looking for the female descendants of the Gong-drumming dance to maintain a reasonable level of developing sustainably and propagandizing Gong-drumming dance by using the new media technology should be taken into action.As Gong-drumming dance is developing constantly over time,we should realize that we can not take the mechanical and simple measures to protect and inherit the Gong-drumming dance.Instead,in order to achieve the final goal to sustainably develop the Gong-drumming dance,we should take more viable measures and make real-time assessment of the institutions about Gong-drumming dance's inheritance,management and research.
