As everyone knows,European women have a low status in history. The reason for this unbalanced phenomenon is not only the change of labor force of social production, but also the religion that intentionally belittles and suppresses the social status of women from the religious texts. With the change of the times and the progress and development of science,European female musicians in the 18th century were no more single singers in the 17th century, but started to appear in public concert halls and salons as soloists or composers. In the meanwhile,it was found from the collection of related information that such a phenomenon in which women were excluded from schools and failed to receive "normalized" music education was still a mainstream.Even if the women who born in a royal family or a noble family, they could only learn the knowledge related to music through the way of employing private tutors. However, the launch of the Enlightenment Movement broke such an unbalanced pattern in which women could not enjoy the equal right of being educated with men because of the appearance of emerging colleges providing women with the equal right of being educated. In addition to this, relevant systems about women's education were also reformed in some countries, which was a historical moment for women.Under such a historical background,European female musicians in the 18th century participated in relevant musical activities in succession as composers, concert performers and singers. In addition, some female musicians would regularly hold some private music concerts or support the holding of some public concerts.Besides, individual female musicians had the experience of working as music teachers. However, there were not musicologists writing academic works in the 18th century.Various European countries in the 18th century were still in a very turbulent age.People not only experienced the sufferings brought by chaos caused by wars, but also suffered the exploitation of the bourgeoisie and the oppression of feudal monarchy. Therefore, people' s consciousness of seeking for the equality of human rights became increasingly stronger.Under the call of enlightenment, contemporary female musicians used music as a weapon to protest unequal discrimination and treatment. Moreover, the artistic values and historical impacts of European female musicians in the 18th century in the field of musicians were not measurable.
