A Primary Study On Performing And Teaching "Piano Sonata No.3 In F Major" Op.46

Kabalevsky is a famous Soviet musician,educational theorist,music critic in the last century.He created the genres widely,including operas,choral,piano,concertos,and so on.Piano Sonata No.3 in F Major was written in 1946,includes three movements,including descriptions of the vibrant life of the people in Soviet Union,their suffering portrayal during World War II,and people's dream of living in peace.The whole musical image is lively and diverse,containing Russian folk music melodies,20 th century modern compositional techniques,which made it melodic and rhythmic,enriched by dance rhythm.This paper will study on Kabalevsky's biography,musical form of his work,performance and teaching aspect and this paper mainly discusses the playing skills and teaching value of the work.
