A Study On The Buddhism Belief Of Citizen In Song Dynasty

Mr Chen yinke said: “ the culture of Chinese nation,through thousands of years of evolution,made in Song Dynasty of the world." In the song dynasty,whether in politics,economy and culture has made brilliant achievements.Because in the song dynasty different degrees of changes have taken place in social class structure,the emergence of neo-confucianism,citizen stratum,Buddhism secularization,the emergence of popular literature.In such an environment of change,the citizens of song dynasty Buddhism presents new characteristics.So this article to the citizens of song dynasty Buddhism belief as the research object,from the perspective of history,sociology,psychology,religion and some other research methods,know their true nature of Buddhism belief,real living condition of residents,as well as the situation behind the profound social and cultural psychological connotation.Full text is divided into three parts: introduction,text and epilogue.The introduction part studies on the meaning of the Buddhism faith of the citizens in song dynasty and analysis the concept of the citizens in song dynasty.Text part is mainly discusses the Buddhism belief to citizens,the first part of the text,the manifestation of Buddhism belief of citizens in song dynasty,starting from family life and social activities,in order to understand their life is how to practice Buddhism itself.The second part,mainly analysis the the common features of citizens in the Buddhism belief,there are three characteristics:religious consciousness with secular consciousness;morality,imagination to create of the Buddhism.The characteristics about the Buddhism belief have changed over time,Compared with the former dynasty,the song dynasty citizens is distinctive in its own way as they have to cope with two often contradictory and polarized ways of Buddhism belief.but between them also connect with each other.And then the third part probes into the reasons of Buddhism belief with citizens:it's the influence of the external environment,such as the ruler supported the development of Buddhism,and it is found that Buddhist clergy and citizens the most extensively,it has its causes of inside factors.Citizens need for Buddhism belief is to meet the psychological needs of their own security.Buddhism can bring comfort to the citizens,and Buddhism belief seize the emotional factors of citizens,it is because of the combination of inside and outside,aremore willing to practice the citizens of the Buddhism faith.Finally discusses the Buddhism belief at that time as well as the impact of future generations,which have the negative side,also has the positive side,so obvious change brings to the society.Epilogue part is summarize the Buddhism belief of the citizens in song dynasty,from the social as a starting point,and analyzes the significance at present.
