A Study On The Kinship Words

Synonyms refers to words with the same meaning,different from that Class relation words refers to words with similar meaning but differentvocabularies in specific use.There are many of them exists in Korean kinship terms,which are different in sound but same in meaning and they are in paradoxical relations with each other.A Class relationship refers to a group of relationships consisting of two or more vocabularies.Although these cohabiting kinship terms have similar meanings,they are different in terms of refinement,and there are subtle differences which is difficult to explain.Chapter One elaborates the necessity of research on the synchronic of Korean kinship words,defines the connotation and concept of this study,and introduces the research scope and research methods of this paper on the basis of the research results of the predecessors' nouns and kinship relations.Chapter Two first examines the meaning and use of the 14 categories of "men"kinship relations,including the dictionary meaning,the relationship of treatment,the source of the word,the use of the difference in the specific context.And then in accordance with the same ideas,elaborates the 15 categories of "women" relatives of the meaning of the relationship between the characteristics and use of the relationship in detail.Chapter Three summarizes the differences of the relationship between "man" and "woman"kinship from the aspects of correspondence,lexical structure,treatment type and method.Chapter four is the conclusion,which summarizes and generalizes the whole thesis.This paper studies both the use and meaning of Korean kinship terms and the word meaning relation from the synchronic perspective at the same time,tries to explain the fact that these words in use also enrichedand the language and culture.Distinguish the differences in meanings ofkinship terms words not only helps us in life to grasp it more accurately and achieve the best effect of information transfer,but also promote personal language expression ability by using proper words while organizing the language.
