A Report On The C-E Translation Of Fish Distant Hybridization

With the development of modern science and technology,scientific translation has become an important tool for international communication.This paper is a report on the C-E translation of Fish Distant Hybridization.The content of this book belongs to the category of biological science and technology.In accordance with the differences between English and Chinese,this thesis tries to analyze difficulties that I have met in the course of translation,including subject choosing and translation,word order adjustment and translation,and passive voice translation.By analyzing examples,the thesis tries to conclude the translation methods on those difficulties.In terms of subject choosing,three methods can be applied which include taking the subject of source text as subject of target text,determining a new subject and adding a subject.For order adjustment,adjusting sentence constituents and attributes can be used.In the aspect of passive voice translation,determining what the source text is?It is a passive sentence with formal detonation or it is a Notional passive sentence.Doing this translation project is good for improving my translation skills and promoting fish distant hybridization of China.
