The Draw-A-Person test,Thematic Apperception Test and Rorschach test are called three top projective tests. As a typical representation of projective tests, the Draw-A-Person test,on the one hand,is frequently used by psychological consultants and clinical practitioners and is considered to be an effective tool which can diagnose and know the psychology clinic visitors. On the other hand, the Draw-A-Person test is questioned by positivists who think some problems exist, such as quantifying the measurement results difficultly,non-ideal results of reliability and validity in the aspect of traditional psychological measurement and disproving theoretical basis difficultly. In spite of the rich field application experience of the Draw-A-Person test among the practitioners,it is lack of researches on Draw-A-Person test in the academic literature. Therefore, systematic popularization, comparation and theoretical review of the Draw-A-Person theory's representative interpretation and rating systems not only contributes to the academic and theoretical research on the Draw-A-Person test, but also contributes to finding the existing problems in the Draw-A-Person test application and provides theoretical guidance for the Draw-A-Person test application. So far,the application of the Draw-A-Person tests has been divided into two kinds of orientation: one is regarded as a measuring tool for testing children intelligence development, and the other is regarded as a tool for the personality diagnosis and psychological assessment. The Draw-A-Person Intelligence test hasbecome the commonly used academic research tool and has accumulated relatively abundant research findings by means of quantifiable advantages and the advantages of developmental norm. However, the Draw-A-Person Personality test lacks the theoretical introduction and systematic and quantifiable standard in the application, which makes it get less attention on academic research and application. On the basis of systematic examination of the theoretical basis of the Draw-A-Person personality tests, the study selected two representative Draw-A-Person personality tests,Machover Draw-A-Person personality test and Koppitz Draw-A-Person personality test,as the representation of Draw-A-Person personality test qualitative system and quantitative system. The study introduced their measuring methods, theoretical basis, interpretation systems and the evaluation indicators.Meanwhile, comparative analysis and theoretical review on their own advantages and disadvantages are included in it.Finally,it evaluated the problems existing in the Draw-A-Person Personality tests and the direction for future development. In the theoretical aspect, this study provides literature support and future research directions for the Draw-A-Person tests' theoretical and empirical research. In the practical aspect, this study provides theoretical guidance and reference materials for the Draw-A-Person tests' local application. We can believe, this study is not only beneficial to promoting academical research on the Draw-A-Person personality tests, but also is beneficial to finding the existing problems in the application of the Draw-A-Person personality tests and providing practical guidance for improving it.
