Korean Envoys' View On The Customs Of Manchu In The Early Qing Dynasty

After the Korea is established by Li Chenggui,he sent his envoys to pay tribute to the China every year.In the Korea's mission,the ambassadors,the assistant ambassadors,the book officer and the entourage,keep a journal of their experiences in China,and report to the king of the Korea after they return home.These experiences in Ming Dynasty called Chaotianlu,and others be called Yanxinglu in Qing Dynasty.This article takes the records of Yanxinglu by Korean Envoys in Qing Dynasty as the main historical data,with other documents as auxiliary,take Manchu custom in Qing Dynasty as the research object,that is to say,to comb the document literature of Manchu custom is in the Yanxinglu by Korean Envoys in Qing Dynasty,include dress hairstyles,local-style dwelling houses building,eating habits,marriage and funeral,ritual custom and so on.The body is divided into five parts:In the first part,to discuss the dress and hairstyles of the Manchu in Korean envoys' view.This part mainly from two aspects of Manchu's dress and Manchu' hairstyles,to explore dress and hairstyles by the observation and record of Korean envoys,to unscramble the deeper reasons for the Korean envoys record of the dress and hairstyles.In the second part,to discuss the eating habits of the Manchu in the views of Korean envoys.This part mainly from two aspects of Manchu's staple food and dishes,to explore the national character of the Manchu's eating habits by the observation of Korean envoys,to analyze the causes and the development process of the Manchu's diet.In the third part,to discuss the local-style dwelling houses building of the Manchu in the views of Korean envoys.This part mainly from two aspects of the Manchu's architectural feature and furnishings,to explore these with the national character of the Manchu's shape of the house,the shape of the Kang's,the tables and chairs,furnishings in the views of Korean envoys.In the fourth part,to discuss the marriage and funeral of the Manchu in Korean envoys.This part mainly from two aspects of Manchu's marriage and funeral,to explore the views of Korean envoys on Manchu's marriage and funeral,and discuss the deeper moral action of the envoys.In the fifth part,to discusses the customs and rituals of the Manchu in the views of Korean envoys.This part mainly from the daily rituals and the hospitable etiquette,to explore the views of Korean envoys on Manchu's etiquette culture,and discuss the Korean literati's understanding of Manchu's etiquette culture..
