The adverbs “zai”and “you” in modern Chinese belong to high-frequency words,both“zai” and “you”in the HSK grade belong to class A grade,in common word classification are2500 frequently used words.In some meanings and usages exist overlapping phenomenon,but due to their different sources in diachronic semantic evolution process they are different in the direction of extension.This thesis take the adverbs “zai” and “you” as the research object,in previous studies based on the combination of corpus analysis,the use of Semantic Map theory is more intuitive to display the “zai” and “you” from the ancient Chinese until the modern Chinese semantic evolution process,in order to provides a useful help for chinese and foreign language teaching.By using the theory of near base deputy to the original meaning of numerals.In the more detailed,the main ideas or research results can be summarized as: 1.Detailed describe the adverbs “zai” and “you” in the diachronic evolution process and the reason,“zai” in ancient Chinese means “twice,the second time”,then evolutes to the basic meaning of the adverb in the form of repetition;“you's” original meaning is “you shou”,then gradually to the adverb evolution.Grammaticalization in which played a key role.2.Adverbs can better segregat,grasp every adverb difference and commonness,this thesis compares the adverbs “zai” and “you” in synchronic and calendar,increasing the depth and breadth.3,Make use of the Semantic Map theory in “zai” and “you”comparative study,intuitive expression “zai”and “you”semantic relatedness and evolution of intimacy,provides an example for the study of Chinese ontology.
