A Report On Liaison Interpretation Of Business Negotiations On Wire Mesh Machinery

In the context of globalization,international trade has increasingly become an important part of national economic development.With the development of economy,import and export trade has not only limited to coastal and border cities.Shijiazhuang,is in the inland of North China's Hebei province,whose import and export is also booming up.The report is based on the negotiations where I acted as an interpreter for Hebei Dapu Import and Co.,Ltd.and its invited customers when they made their visit to the factory.They introduced new products and held business negotiations from September10,2016 to September 17,2016.During these negotiations,we mainly focus on resistance welding machine.This led to the interpretation of two main difficulties and a focus.One difficulty is mechanical knowledge,i.e.,certain related words and proper nouns make the interpretation much harder.Another difficulty is the activity itself:business negotiations and interpretations Some unexpected things happened amid the interpretations,so I think it is necessary to illustrate some strategies to solve these problems.This report mainly includes four parts.The first chapter,a brief description of the task.The second chapter,describes the process of interpretation,mainly describing the process of interpreting including preparation beforehand.The third chapter,mainly illustrates a case study.Including reviews of translation theories and skills.In the fourth chapter,I summarize the interpretation activity,my experience and my reflections in relation to solutions to the problems.
