Narrative Of Chinese Ritual Culture In Nirvana In Fire And Its Communication Value

Chinese ritual culture is the root of Chinese traditional culture,but also the soil and environment to form the spirit of the Chinese nation.Ritual culture runs through the history of the development of Chinese civilization,and now the ritual culture has become a political,cultural,educational,entertainment and other aspects of the wisdom of absorbing energy.In the past three thousand years,"Ritual" has formed its rich connotation."Ritual" is a governance structure and a system of civilization,which relies on the authority of the state machine,with the help of the national implementation of the enlightenment,social sanction and personal morality,to maintain political and social order.Chinese ritual culture presents a splendid sight during the academic history of China,which previous studied on in archaeology,history,literature,art,philosophy,law,political science and other disciplines.As a branch of art and communication studies,film and TV art has become an effective medium for the spread of ritual culture with its unique audio-visual language.The TV series Nirvana in Fire is a representative of a large number of film and television works that reflects the "ritual culture".This play is adapted from the novel with the same title by Hai Yan.It is a large costume drama,landing Beijing TV,Dragon TV and broadcasted simultaneously on Iqiyi network platform on September 19,2015.Since the launch of TV its ratings and reputation evaluation is rising,and it is a popular and critically acclaimed production of film and television works.This paper is divided into five chapters,which makes Nirvana in Fire as the research object and is based on the theory of ritual,communication,aesthetics and narratology.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly explains the research background,research status,research significance and research methods.The second chapter gives an overview of ritual culture,the first section outlines the basic content of China ritual culture in the China ritual culture;the second section discusses the function of "rite" from the angle of individual,family and country;the third section discusses the connotation of the ritual culture from the following three aspects: system,internal spirit and external practice.The third chapter is the narrative communication of ritual culture in Nirvana in Fire.First of all,this chapter analyzes the narrative content of the ritual culture in the text,and then discusses the function and significance of "ceremony" in the characterization,narrative structure,influence communication.The four chapter is value of ritual culture spread in Nirvana in Fire,which analyzes its ethical value,emotional value and educational value.The fifth chapter is the conclusion: the spread of ritual culture and the construction of "cultural soft power",and studying on the spread of ritual culture is of great significance to the promotion of Chinese traditional culture and the enhancement of national cultural self-confidence.
