Analyzing The Evolution Of The Director Wu Ershan

Director Wu Ershan has come out four works,and they all have high degree of attention and strong representation.His first two works "soap opera" and "The Butcher,the Chef and the Swordsman" have a strong artistic and pioneering colors.Because of exploring life and human nature,the audio-visual language and narrative structure,the works become the focus of the film circle;And his two commercial films "The Resurrection" and " Mojin-The Lost Legend" because of the continuous creation of box office miracle cause the industry generally concerned about.its mode of operation in full accordance with industry standards,in the visual experience,narrative structure were fully affirmed by the majority of the audience.In this paper,the works of Wu Ershan are divided,and analyzed systematically.The first two works of director Wu Ershan embodied the artistic beauty of the film,and then the two works showed the commercial charm of the film.After the longitudinal analysis of these four works,the film works could be clearly sorted out the process of evolution.The author will analyze the evolution of the four works by the three aspects: Firstly,the theme of the film expression,from the vanguard to the secularization,the director of the film expresses the focus from the absurdity of human care to the secular human love.Secondly,in the narrative structure,from the in section narrative to the linear narrative,the narrative structure from the search for a breakthrough,to embrace the type;Finally,in terms of image representation from symbolization to wonders,the film visual focus from coding implied meaning code to display visual wonders.At the same time,this paper will contrast and reflect the evolution of the film in the expression of the subject,the narrative structure and the expression of the image,and the treatment of the art film and the commercial film has some reference significance for the contemporary film man.At present,the thesis is still in the blank stage.The original spirit of academic research will further enhance the research depth of the author.
