The Study Of The Effect Of Literati Painting On Chinese Painting Inscriptions

This paper is focused on the effect of literati paintings on inscriptions.The author gives a brief description on the rheological process of inscriptions,analyzes the effect of the inscriptions' forms and contents on paintings,and discusses the development situation,the significance and value of inscriptions during the time when literati paintings were prevailing.The important position and value of literati paintings are also analyzed simultaneously in the whole inscription art.In the meanwhile,the relationship between literati paintings and imperial-court decorative painting and the effect of imperial-court decorative painting creation on the development and evolution of inscriptions are also analyzed.The formation,promotion and prosperity of inscription art is not only the function of its internal factors,but also the result of social development.Inscription art is a large content and indispensable feature in Chinese painting art,which assembles many factors like poem,calligraphy,painting,seal.It has placed Chinese painting at a higher level.The charm of inscription art is that it is the wonderful combination of traditional poem,calligraphy,painting and the study of seal,also a very good practice for the originator.Based on the related data and documents,this paper relies on exemplification and correlation method to analyze inscription art in literati paintings,combining with a large number of the specific painting works.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter outlines the origin and development of inscriptions.The second chapter discusses the importance of literati painting inscription from the content and form.The third chapter expounds the transformation from imperial-court decorative painting to literati paintings,and the great influence of literati paintings on the inscription styles and development.This chapter is divided into three parts.Part one is the analysis of the relationship between imperial-court decorative painting and literati paintings.Part two is the description of inscription development status during the time when imperial-court decorative painting was prevailing.Part three is the key point of the researching on this paper-the forming process of literati paintings and its great effect on inscription.The fourth chapter is some thinking about modern inscription and “aphasia” related to painting.There are a lot of problems existing in modern painting inscriptions,but less Chinese painters value it,together with their poor calligraphy abilities and the introduction of western art thoughts,which make inscription art development face a severe crisis.The significant value and influence of inscription art on Chinese painting are discussed in this paper.We should have a good knowledge of inscription.Inherit the fine tradition in the classic works,and carry on the development and innovation,rather than try to escape inscription problems we face right now.As for originators,getting up on the right side,delving into the study is actually the correct thing,to make inscription art adapt to modern paintings and exert its original value.
