The Study On Thoughts In "You Yu Yi" Of Confucius

The thesis attempts to have a study on thoughts in “You Yu Yi” of Confucius from three aspects: first of all,“You Yu Yi” would be given an analysis in philosophy.Secondly,“You Yu Yi” would be further expounded after organizing and analyzing the views of previous studies.At last,compared with “Xiao Yao You”,the difference would be found between Confucianism and Taoism in the details.“ You” has different interpretations in different dynasties.The main explanations include following: it can not be served as the basis,playing something to relax,people quit themselves and devoted themselves to playing,or playing.Tracing the source,“You Yu Yi”was related with the walk.As “You Yu Yi” and “Yi Yu Ren” are inseparable.The meaning of“You” is study and ruminate,which refers to have a free and detached indifferent realm of life.Every commentator in different times are using Huang Kan's viewpoint to explain the“Yi” in “You Yu Yi”.“Yi” means Confucius “Six Arts”(“Six Arts” includes ceremonies,music,archery,carriage driving,writing,and mathematics)and elucidates it further on the basis of “six arts”.Neo-Confucians value the “You Yu Yi” because of its healthy care function.Even though“Yi” is at the secondary position in their mind,the sage of extent could be reached only ins and outs are both considered.However,some unprofessional Neo-Confucians think that the“Yi” is useless Psychologists emphasize that what “Xin”(“Xin” means heart)wants(“Zhi”)is“Dao”.“Zhi Yu Dao” could cover these three things,but “You Yu Yi” only could help mental adjustment and healthy-care.A group of Confucians represent by Fuzhi Wang broke the linear explanation and point out that “You Yu Yi” is good to the process in “Zhi Dao”,“Ju De” and“Yi Ren” and this function is happened at any time.In a word,“You Yu Yi” begins with “Zhi Yu Dao”,after “Ju Yu De” and “Yi Yu Ren”,then people could achieve the transcendent noumenon condition.This condition is equal to“Cheng Yu Yue” which is formed after “Xing Yu Shi” and “Yi Yu Li” process.“Cheng Yu Yue” contains “Qing” and “Li”.When the “Li” is achieved completely,the “Qing” could begained.Then people could realize the state of “You Yu Yi”.The people's attitude towards the outside is “Ke Yu Quan”.They would not judge anything just rely on their preferences but morality and justice.The attitude “Wu Ke Wu Bu Ke” is same as the “You Yu Yi”,and helps people in “Cong Rong Zhi Dao” could face realistic situation),then “Jin Xing Li Ming” could be achieved.From the “Zhi Yu Dao”,“Ju Yu De” to “Yi Yu Ren”,and going to the state of “You Yu Yi” finally,this state can not be produced naturally.People need try their best to “Study”.They can not just to learn knowledge from outside but learn to digest these knowledge in their life in order to improve the realm of life.At this point,how hard to learn would decide the level you are.If your goal of “study” is to be a sage,you should “Learn For Yourself” without be troubled by other things from outside,then you would enjoy this process of study.In the final analysis,“You Yu Yi” of Confucius is still happened in society,what Confucius pursued is “Someone could follow their heart's desire without overstepping the line”.This is means “Fang Nei Zhi You” which combines people with Taoism.By comparison,Zhuangtse's “Pleasant Journey” means “Play in the formless condition of heaven and earth”.It refers to “Fang Wai Zhi You” which people and “Tao” of nature combine into a whole.“You Yu Yi” could be achieved by constant effort.On the other hand,“Inaction” is the only way to realize the “Pleasant Journey” by human.
