A Report On The Translation Of Green Infrastructure And Public Health(chapter 1)

This is a translation project report on Chapter 1 of Green Infrastructure and Public Health,written by Christopher Coutts.In this chapter,the original author mainly gives a brief introduction of green infrastructure,ecosystem services and their influence to health,which is filled with highly academic value for public health,environmental and urban planning studies.The translation project will not only increase scholarly understanding of the relationships between green infrastructure and public health for learners,but provide a guide to our sustainable development.The translation report consists of five parts.The first part is an introduction,which covers the project background,significance and the structure of the report.In the second part,the background of the authors,main contents and stylistic features of the source text are included.The third part is about the translation theory and related preparation,and this report is based on text type theory.The following part focuses on the encountered difficulties and translation skills adopted in translating some specific examples.The fifth part summarizes the experiences and lessons learned by the translator and problems unsolved in this translation project.
