During the warring states period,society was unstable,regime changed frequent.Facing such a complex situation,scholars of warring states period who thought highly of history tried to find a result in the changi ng of history,“the theory of revolution of King Tang and King Wu” were the focus of these scholars.Scholars of Warring States Period narrated “the theory of revolution of King Tang and King Wu” upon their own inclination to set their own theory about how to save their kingdom.This article focus on how scholars of warring st ates period utilized histor ies to illustrate the ir own opinions,and compare the dif ferences between scholars' narration to realize how these scholars debated and the developm ent of warring states period historiography.The article has five chapters,the first chapter is preface,talk about the prior studies on this question and the main idea of this ar ticle.Through the background of researches we can know that though there are opulent researches on question about how scholars of warring states period argued about “the theory of revolution of King Tang and King Wu”,there is still research space.T he second chapter is about the major divergence between scholars of warring states peri od,through the study we can know Meng Zi focused on popular supports,Xun Zi focused on saint emperor,Mo Zi focused on Holy will,Hanfei believed in Yi Yin,scholars had different inclinations.The third chapter is about the different narrative characteristics between scholars of warring states period view of “the theory of revolution of King Tang and King Wu”,Meng Zi focused on moral to believe the revolution is justice,Xun Zi also agreed with the justic e of the revolution,Mo Zi believed the revolution is a save not an invade,Han Fei opposed the revolution and ar gued that the revolution is illegal with the opinion of Fa Jia.The fourth chapter is about how m anuscript Rong Cheng Shi narrated the revolution,and the differences between scholars of warring states period.Rong Cheng Shi believed that King Jie and King Zhou abandoned the policy determined by prior Kings is the reason why the revolution began,but Rong Cheng Shi also disagree with King Wu who used war,Rong Cheng Shi agreed with King Wen's method,loyal to the King and rule the kingdom.The fifth chapter is su mmary of the full text.The m ain surface of this paper is to study the characteri stics of the history of the theory of “ the theory of revolution of King Tang and King Wu”,as well as the reas ons for the differences in the theory of history.
