A Report On The Subtitle Translation Of Aviation Instructional Video

Subtitle translation is popularized in the film industry to meet cognitive needs of the audience.It is of great value and promises significant future development,especially that of aviation teaching.This thesis combines Gutt's relevance theory with the subtitle translation of aviation instructional video Civil Aviation Cabin Service and Management to analyze the subtitle translation of aviation teaching.Through the analysis of the text and the characteristics of the subtitle translation,it sums up the strategies and skills of subtitle translation,and confirms the feasibility of relevance theory in subtitle translation.With the continuous development of the times,the study of subtitle translation,especially the study on the teaching subtitles and other scarce areas,needs theoretical support.The accuracy of subtitle translation can be guaranteed via the cooperation of the translation group.The author hopes to provide a new perspective and a new method for the future research of the subtitle translation in aviation teaching through the practice report and improve the level of the subtitle translation in aviation teaching to attract more scholars to the emerging field of subtitle translation.
