Since the establishment of diplomacy between China and Thailand,Chinese teaching has become a success in Thailand among Thai students,but the learning of Chinese characters is a difficult part,according to Chinese characters are known as one of the few square words in the world and the ideographic character either,while the Thai letters are a phonetic character,Obviously,Chinese characters are very different from Thai,therefore the reading and writing of Chinese characters are difficult for Thai students.In the present,Chinese teaching as a foreign language in Thailand is integrating Chinese characters teaching into other courses with the consistency mode of "learning to reading" but there has some questions with the teaching model:Chinese characters have their own characteristics,the analysis of Chinese characters also need certainly knowledge of Chinese characters,if Chinese character learning is only carried out in a comprehensive vocabulary study,it is inevitable that this will be lost Either ignoring the teaching of the Chinese character or affecting the progress of teaching,this is terribly for the improvement of the Chinese standard.Therefore,it is necessary to separately establish Chinese language course.The study participants were twenty teachers and 250 Thai students including first year,sophomore and junior year students from various colleges such as The Education College,The Humanities Institute,and The Confucius Institute in Khon Kaen University.The author examines the Chinese teaching situation in Thailand,then according to the characteristics of Chinese characters,we design specific teaching methods and deliver lectures with the teaching method of Thai university which is accordingly designed for the Chinese characters teaching.Finally,we come up with the reflection on the design of Chinese character teaching.This paper is divided into five parts:The first chapter focuses on the background and meaning of the research,subjects and methodologies,the literature review,and put forward the main three related studies.In the second chapter,the article mainly explains the research contents and methodologies,and analyzes the results of the survey results of the basic Chinese character lessons in the University of Thailand by using statistical software.In chapter 3,we design the Chinese character course.Chapter four,According to the teaching implementation and feedback,put forward suggestions on the teaching of Chinese characters.Chapter five,the epilogue.Summarize the research of the paper and put forward the deficiency of research.
