The psychological problems of children from divorced family have been given more and more attention as the divorce rate increases.In order to understand the relationship among core self-evaluation,coping style and interpersonal trust of children from divorced family,so as to apply sandplay therapy to them as psychological assistance,364 rural primary school students(including 2 children from widowed family,13 children from separated family,43 from divorced family and306 from normal family)are measured by means of “Core Self-Evaluations Scale”,“Coping Style Scale” and “Trust Scale”.We select 3 children from divorced family that have relatively lower core self-evaluation,apply sandplay therapy to them to exert personal intervention,and explore the possibility of improving the core self-evaluation and interpersonal trust of children from divorced family.The results are as follows:(1)The core self-evaluation level of children from divorced family is significantly lower than children from normal family.The coping style of children from divorced family is relatively negative and fixed.The level of interpersonal trust of children from divorced family is significantly lower than whom from normal family.(2)There is significant positive correlation among core self-evaluation,coping style and interpersonal trust.Core self-evaluation and coping styles have a significant positive predictive effect on interpersonal trust.Core self-evaluation is the mediating variable of coping style and interpersonal trust.(3)After establishing good relationships between consultants and visitors,sandplay therapy is capable of promoting the core self-evaluation and improving interpersonal trust of children from divorced family.In summary,core self-evaluation and coping style are important factors of interpersonal trust.Coping style has impacts on interpersonal trust by means of core self-evaluation.On the basis of good counseling relationship,the Sandplay therapy canpromote core self-evaluation and improve interpersonal trust.
