William Golding is a full of wisdom and the brilliant writer. His novel style is unique and gives readers rich literature associations. The contents of his works are deep and interesting and there is a certain influence in the countries all over the world. In Golding's works, a variety of different space scenes bring readers rich associations. Golding's creation with his age and experiences are inseparable, He experienced the World War ?and the influence of ancient Greek culture and thoughts of existentialism. He used calm stroke, with a moral sense to gain insight into the modern society and even the ancient humans, which to tell the distortion of human nature and self redemption. Foreign study of Golding started at his creative period, and the study of Golding begins the period that he won the Nobel Prize for literature. The research of our country about Golding is mainly concentrated in the perspective of "evil human nature", and most are based on Lord of the Flies. In this paper, Golding's novels are as the research object, combining traditional social and historical criticism method, and applying spatial narrative theory to discuss Golding's novels.The article is divided into four parts. The first part is introduction, which introduces the Golding's life, the present situation of the research at home and abroad, and the value of this article. The second part is "the cause of the novels' narrative space",including Golding's own experience and the influence of traditional European literature, through analysis to explain the causes of the space narrative works. The third part is "Golding novels' type of space", from the natural space, social space and psychological space to analysis of his works. The fourth part is " Golding novels' narrative image”,from the meaning of construction of image map and the meaning of same image space to show his novels rich space image atlas and interpret its meaning. The fifth part is "the space narrative's form of techniques ", from narrative point of view, juxtaposition and the structure of intertextuality to interpret his works' creative skills.
