Chinese has a very rich classifier.When the numeral and the noun combined,classifier should be added behind the numeral.This is one of the characteristic of Chinese,and it is one of the difficulties for the overseas students to study Chinese.Classifier is hard to learn and to study,and which is one of the difficulties for the overseas students.In this paper,10 high frequency individual classifiers are selected as the research object,using "HSK dynamic composition corpus" as the source of error corpus to analyze the number of errors and the types of errors in the corpus of the 10 individuals.According to this,the errors of the 10 individual classifiers can be summarized to find the error types of most foreign students in the use of quantifier.Based on the analysis of the causes of the errors,the author gives some suggestions on the teaching of the classifiers of foreign students.The thesis is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the reason,purpose,significance,definition,research status,research methods and research ideas.The classification of classifiers has always been a controversial issue in the linguistic field.The section of definition introduces the main categories of the linguistic field,as well as some scholars on the definition and explanation of "individual Quantifier".The present research mainly introduces the research on the ontology of the individual classifiers and the error in the Chinese as a foreign language.Finally,according to the frequency dictionary of modern Chinese,ten individual classifiers with the highest frequency are selected as the research object.The second chapter introduces the specific application regularity of the ten high frequency individual classifiers,which can be divided into:semantic features,grammatical features and pragmatic features.The number of errors,the type of error,and the specific examples of individual classifiers in the HSK dynamic composition corpus will be found out.The third chapter is to conduct the analysis through summing up the types of errors and the causes of errors based the analysis of the data.The types of errors can be divided into grammatical errors and lexical errors.Grammatical errors are:the universal use of the wrong quantifiers of "a,as well as leakage and its own universal use.Vocabulary errors are:words,words and traditional Chinese characters.The reasons include the negative transfer of mother tongue,the negative transfer of target language and the lack of knowledge of target language.The fourth chapter introduces the teaching suggestions according to the causes of the errors,and puts forward some suggestions for teachers,students and teaching materials.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the main points and conclusions of this thesis,and points out the shortcomings and further research directions.
