Hsun Tzu as the last master of the pre-Qin Confucianism, his thought has always been the focus of academic research, but also the focus of debates.Human nature theory, relations of rite and law, relationship between heaven and man,and so on.Basing the achievements of previous studies, this paper explores Hsun Tzu's unified theory and its influence with the theme of reconstruction order during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States period. As the theme of times, reconstruction order had always been the focus of various schools.Confucius with the faith of Chou Tao,tried to restore the feudal order of the Chou.He first advocated the rectification of the name,by clearing the rights and obligations of all classes to maintain the authority of Chou Wang.Second,by putting the "benevolence" into the rite,Confucius transformed the rigid etiquette system, and brought a new vitality into the etiquette ritual system.Mencius inherited the tradition of benevolence of Confucius' thought, basing on the theory of human nature, which is inherent in the nature of the goodness, and advocated that fufilling the Benevolent government and reviving the Kingly way reconstructed the order of the world.Hsun Tzu inherited the ritual tradition of Confucius' thought,on the basis of absorbing the ideas of other philosophers, basing on the human nature hypothesis of"the original evil nature of man" and constructed the great unified theory for the purpose of reconstructing the order of world, which contained three parts:the world unity, the ideological unity and the system unity.Hsun Tzu not only designed the ideal political order but also gave an operability solution to achieving this ideal order.Beside having an important impact on Han Fei and the early Han Dynasty ritual thought,Hsun Tzu's Great unity thought also profoundly influenced the typical political system established by the Qin and Han dynasties, which is characterized by the centralization of the monarchy, the Confucian doctrine as the national ideology, the scholar politics.
