The Multiple Mediating Effect Of The Relationship Between College Students' Father Present And Intimate Relationship

Father presence refers to psychological nearness and accessibility to the father in the heart of the child,this accessibility is the core of the relationship between father and his child,in a broad sense,father-child relationship is a kind of intimate relationship,and will have a profound impact on the psychological development of children.According to Eriksson's eight-stage development theory,the important task of college students-in the early years of youth is to develop a good intimate relationship,which is particularly important for the future development of the individual.In order to explore whether the father-the important role of the family have an impact on the adult college students' intimate relationship,and take the social support that the individual subjective feelings and partner trust into account.From the development of systematic view,in a specific age,father's education to his child may implement some feasible interventions,so that college students will have a more perfect intimate relationship,which they expect,and this can help them grow and develop better.In this study,408 students in Tianjin and Beijing's university,those who has had a love experience or is in love,were investigated by random sampling with questionnaires.And then the following conclusions were drew:(1)The father presence level of college students is at a middle to high level,the relationship between the father and child and the father presence level is better or higher when he or she is the only child,a freshman,when the family is the urban household registration and the nuclear family;(2)The overall level of college students intimate relationship quality is at a middle to high level.When they love longer,their love openness is more public,they feel more satisfactory,communicate more,can get better development together and the overall level is higher,and junior obtained relatively less growth condensation.(3)The degree of social support of college students is in the normal range,and the level of partner trust is moderate.when the family has the only child and is an urban household registration family,they get more support from family;(4)Father presence,the quality of intimate relationship,social support and partner trust have a significant positive correlation between each other,and father presence and partner trust both directly affect the quality of college students' intimate relationships;(5)Social support and partner trust partly play a mediating role between father presence and the quality of intimate relationships.
