Observation And Research Of The Ritual And Music In "Yuhuang Dabiao" Of Taoist Monastery Where In Mount.Hengshan

The ritual of Yuhuang Dabiao,is one of the Taoist blessing events.This passange is based on an fieldwork to studied a religious ceremony——Yuhuang Dabiao,which is held by the disciples in the monastery where in Mount.Hengshan,as well as its ritualistic music.The whole passange mainly including 3 parts:the foreword,the 3 chapters and the conclusion.Chapter 1 is a brief introduction about the Taoist Purification Ritual,Taoist monastery where in Mount.Hengshan,the Jade Emperor and the fairy's belief.Chapter2 and 3 are the key parts of the passange.By describing and analysing the ritual of Jade Emperor and the music in this event,the articles makes us clear about the musical performances and characteristics showed in the ritual.Especially,comparing with the music in religious ceremonies held by ordinary temples,we can find the specificities of the ritualistic music of those held by disciples in monastery where in Mount.Hengshan,as well as the musical differences among different individuals.
