Statistical Analysis Of The Nasalance And Its Acoustic Characteristics In Flow Of Speech Of Beijing Dialect

Experiment in this paper used nasometer to make statistic analysis of the nasalance flow in 34 pronuncer.The experiment includes three-word group?four-word group and statements of different speed and different focus position,the nasalance of vowels,nasal initial consonant and nasal tail vowels are compared and analyzed.The experimental results were analyzed with one-word group,two-word group and previous research results to find the similarities and differences.We used PRAAT software to measure different acoustic features in syllable stream language,which includes:duration and intensity,four resonance(F1?F2?F3?F4),and try to find the influence of change of the nasalance on acoustic features.SPSS software was used to analyze the experimental results,and the effects of different factors on the nasalance and its acoustic characteristics were investigated.The results are as follows:In different syllable combinations,the different positions of the vowels are inconsistent.Light voice,suffixed words all have a certain influence on the degree of nose.The experimental results show that different tempo cause different nasalization on words of diversified phonological natures.The effect of vowel's intrinsic nasality of/a/and/y/in various speed shows as low speed>medium speed>high speed;the effect of vowel's intrinsic nasality of/i/?/u/and//shows as high speed>medium speed>low speed;vowel's intrinsic nasality of//in the medium speed is the largest,in the low speed is middle and in the high speed is the smallest.The effect of nasal initials'nasality of/m/and/n/in various tempos shows as low speed>medium speed>high speed.The slower the speed,the closer the nasal initials' nasalityl degree to its separate,while the influence of speed on the nasalization of rhyme tails is the same as that of initial of nasals,that is the quicker the speed is,the less the nasalization will be in the end of word.When the anterior nasal tail/-n/is in the focus position,the weakening rate and the nasal rate are larger,and the weakening rate of the non focus syllable is less than the focus syllable.Compared with the two word group,the nasal degree of the focus and non focus syllables were all smaller than that of the two word group.There was also a certain degree of weakening and nasal/-?/in the posterior nasal tail,but the ratio was far less than that of the anterior nasal tail/-n/,and the numerical standard deviation of posterior nasal tail was relatively is smaller and more stable,less affected by the flow of speech.
