Noun Reduplication Of Jin Dialect Of Shanxi

This dissertation takes noun reduplication of Jin dialect of Shanxi as research objects,and it mainly discusses the following questions.The first one is basic classification of noun reduplication of Jin dialect of Shanxi.The second one is the analysis to AA type of noun reduplication which means little.And the third one explores the grammatical arguments of AA type of noun reduplication which means little.Chapter 1,introduction.A brief introduction about research subjects and domain,the partition of Jin dialect of Shanxi.Then it summarizes the previous studies of noun reduplication of modern Chinese as well as Jin dialect.Chapter 2,firstly it tabulates the noun reduplication of Jin dialect of Shanxi and there are main types:AA,AAB,ABB,AABB,ABCC and AXBB.Secondly it describes the type of noun reduplication of Jin dialect of Shanxi and illustrates their grammatical function.Chapter 3,firstly it illustrates that the widest and main type is AA type.Secondly it concludes that the basic and main type is still AA type from the relationship among the noun reduplication,"?" suffix and suffixation of "?".Thirdly it explains the semantic traits of noun reduplication of Shanxi.Chapter 4,firstly it concludes that noun reduplication is a distinctive traits in Jin dialect of Shanxi.We analyze the reason of noun reduplication:the first one is from children's language,the second one is the trend of two-tone of vocabulary.Thirdly we find that noun reduplication is a abundant phenomenon through the comparison between the Jin dialect of Shanxi and Putonghua.Chapter 5,the conclusion.It summarizes whole paper and points out the drawback.
