The Symmetric Aesthetic Features In Mural Art

Mural art forms of a variety of performance,mural content in various periods,a variety of themes in the murals have their own artistic characteristics.Among them,the symmetry as an important form of mural art,in the ancient fresco art,especially religious fresco art creation of various periods are highly respected.This paper attempts to explore the symmetrical aesthetic characteristics of mural art,taking Dunhuang fresco as an example,from the perspective of the characteristics of "similarity symmetry" and "not similar symmetry",this paper analyzes and explains the representative murals case,Layout,shape,color and other aspects of interpretation,in the study of ancient painters cleverly solve the problem of composition symmetry at the same time,to further explore the murals in the creation of symmetrical aesthetic characteristics.
