A Study On The Grammar Of Lipu Dialect

In this thesis,we take Lipu dialect in Guangxi as the object of study,and take the"Modern Chinese Dialect Corpus Investigation Plan",prepared by DanqingLiu,Zhengda Tang and "A Handbook for Grammatical Investigation and Research"prepared by Danqing Liu as the foundation.Learn from other relevant grammar research framework in linguistics and typology theory,and combined with the traditional research to make a detailed description and analysis in Lipu dialect and find out the value of Lipu dialect.This thesis is divided into twelve chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,introduces the research object of this thesis,a survey of studies on Gui-Liu dialect,the purpose of this study,the content and the source of the material.Chapter 2 to Chapter 11 are the key contents of this thesis.Through the investigation and research,we sort out the phonetic system of Lipu dialect and use the relevant grammatical theory to describe the grammar of Lipu dialect,we can find out the grammatical characteristics of linguistics and typology in Lipu dialect.Chapter 2 is the the phonetic system of Lipu dialect,it describes the initial consonants,finals,tones and continuous tone sandhi of Lipu dialect.Chapter 3 is the word formation and morphology,describes the affix and the overlapping form of Lipu dialect and other aspects of the situation.Chapter 4 is the pronouns.the pronouns in Lipu dialect can be divided into three categories,such as,personal pronouns,demonstrative pronouns and interrogative pronouns then hen analyses the characteristics of their usage.Chapter 5 is the modal verbs,which divides the modality of Lipu dialect into cognition modality,moral modality,cognition modality,and analyzes the usage and function of modal verbs in Lipu dialect.Chapter 6 is the quantifier,according to the typological classification of the poems of Lipu dialect is divided into unit of measurement words,noun quantifiers and momentum words and describe the grammatical functions simply.Chapter 7 is adverbs,the adverbs of Lipu dialect can be divided into range adverbs,degree adverbs,time adverbs,negative adverbs,modal adverbs.Chapter 8 is preposition,this chapter discusses the preposition in Lipu dialect by using the knowledge of typology.Chapter 9 is the auxiliary word,mainly introduces the structural particles,aspectual particle and modal particle in Lipu dialect and emphatically introduced thestructural particles"lie".In chapter 10,we disscuss the aspect,included initiation,progressive,continued,experience,complete,repeated,short,attempts,ect.In chapter 11,this chapter mainly uses the theory of typology to describe the more special three kinds of sentence in Lipu dialect:passive sentence,interrogative sentence and comparative sentence and comparative sentences in Lipu dialect have important typological characteristics.Chapter 12 is the conclusion,we summarized the grammatical characteristics of Lipu dialect then put forward the shortcomings and some thought about the study of dialect.
