In 2015 China's foreign direct investment flow reached $145.67 billion,the second largest in the world.As China and the asean free trade area was formally established the "and"area "strategy in full swing.The association of south-east Asian nations(asean)has gradually become hot region direct investment enterprises in China.And the association of south-east Asian nations(asean)region culture characteristic is bright,is characterized by:"multi-ethnic and multi-religious,multilingual",so its complicated cultural environment is the enterprise for the problem of international direct investment has to face.Due to the objective existence of cultural difference,because of neglect cultural differences lead to failures.Therefore,the influence of cultural factors on the international direct investment is becoming more and more highlights,scholars at home and abroad are also continue to strengthen the research.So this article with a hot region of the Chinese enterprise direct investment in the asean region as the background,from a cross-cultural perspective,analysis the influence of cultural differences on Chinese enterprise direct investment.Based on the cultural differences affect model as a theoretical basis for the mechanism of international direct investment.By studying the cultural difference on "location selection,entry mode selection,human resource management in overseas markets,overseas marketing"four aspects,to find the cultural differences effect of the micro transmission mechanism of international direct investment.Then,through narrative cultural differences to the challenge of Chinese companies to invest in asean,to illustrate the current situation of cultural differences cause.And by comparing the cultural differences between China and asean countries,to find the association of south-east Asian nations(asean)countries the difference between the Chinese cultural characteristics,and use these cultural characteristics cultural differences affect FDI mechanism model,how to specific analysis of the specific decisions affect Chinese companies to invest in asean.At last,through positive and negative two cases in this paper,the sum up experience,suitable for Chinese enterprises' reasonable Suggestions are presented.
