The research of Chinese text books is getting more and more emphasized as the development of the research of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Many researchers in this area have realized the importance of text book on teaching as well as learning Chinese.Therefore,choosing a suitable Chinese text book for students to study is undoubtedly one of the key factors that influence the result of teaching and learning Chinese.This research chooses two text books which are HANYU JIAOCHENG edited by Chinese writer Mr.Jizhou Yang and FOUNDATION CHINESE edited by Thai writer Ms.Wenya Xu to be the objects of analyzing.Also,this research uses the classification of cultural factors of communication which combines with the opinions of Mr.Zimin Meng and Mr.Zhanyi Zhang as the standard of analyzing.The research will also evaluate the cultural factors of communication in the two text books with the evaluation criteria which is summed by writer with sufficient evidence.The full text is divided to six parts,the first part is for introduction,including the background of research,research methods,content of research and the significance of research.The second,third and the forth part are for giving examples and analyzing the language cultural factors of communication,the nonverbal cultural factors of communication and the deep cultural factors of communication in the two Chinese text books.The fifth part uses the standard of evaluation criteria to assess the cultural factors of communication which shows in the text books.The last part makes the summary of the full thesis.
