An Ethnographic Study On The Folk Belief In Zhongzhao Village?Weibin District Of Xinxiang City In Henan Province

With the reform and development,Xinxiang City,Henan Province,Wei Bin District,Zhongzhao village and other parts of China,changed the past behind the face,economic,social and cultural have made great progress.At the same time,with the village folk belief activists' efforts,the village temple——Yi Yong Wu An Wang temple have been rebuilt,folk beliefs have been revived.In the course of the eighteen years of the development of the Yi Yong Wu An Wang temple,the faith elites of the village shows the characteristics of overlapping with cultural elites,political elites and economic elites.In the case of China's deepening reform and opening up development,the reform of the social level have been put forward new requirements.Then what's the status quo of the temple committee which supports the development of the Yi Yong Wu An Wang temple? Is there a possibility of transition to a modern social organization? The author based on the modern social organization standards,through the formation of the temple organization,the the two changes of the temple organization members,and through participating in the observation and interviews on the daily operation of the temple organization,to In-depth analysis whether it can be transformed into modern social organizations.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction,which explains the background and significance of the topic,the research status,the theoretical framework and the research method and the selection of the field investigation point.The second part is the subject.The first chapter introduced Zhongzhao village's natural and cultural environment,and the special political ecology that the village's folk beliefs in;The second chapter combed the power of the letter from the decentralized to the integration of the temple committee organizations also emerged after the integration of the letter,on the basis of this,the desire to rebuild the village temple have realized;The third chapter discusses the two factors behind the revival of the folk belief-the temple organization and the faith elites,explains the daily operation of the temple committee organization and the faith elites;The fourth chapter is the author during the Spring Festival,in order to more in-depth understanding of the temple organization and the role of the faith elties,and ongoing the participation of the observation;Finally is the conclusion of this paper: the Yi Yong Wu An Wang temple's committee cannot produce the social capital which connected to modern society,and the efforts of the faith elites is still subject to the administrative intervention of the village committee,coupled with the contradiction between the old and new village committees,temple organizations,the survival and development of space is very small,do not have the possibility to transition to the modern social organization.
