Medical and nursing staffs as a part of special professional group,they are not only responsible for the work,but also receive more and more mental pressure.In recent years,the relationship between doctors and patients has been strained.It is inevitable to have a negative impact on the work and life of the front-line medical staff,which will affect the professional development and physical and mental health.The related research shows that mentoring is helpful to the improvement of employee's job satisfaction,but the empirical research on the relationship between personal traits and guidance relationship is at the exploratory stage.Therefore,the medical and nursing staffs were selected as the participants,the variable of the proactive personality was used to conduct empirical analysis in our research.Our research explores the proactive personality of medical and nursing staffs moderating the effect on the relationship between mentoring relationship and job satisfaction for the first time.The method of the questionnaire survey was used,400 medical and nursing staffs in Henan Province of Xuchang city and Kaifeng city hospitals were selected as participants,and mentoring relationship scale,job satisfaction questionnaire and proactive personality questionnaire were used as measurement tools,and SPSS20.0 was applied to analyze the data.The conclusions of the study are as follows:First,there are significant differences about the mentoring relationship of the medical staff guidance in the demographic variables of age,marital status,seniority,education background.Second,there is a significant difference about the job satisfaction of medical staff in their age,marital status,seniority,education background.Third,there is a significant predictive effect between medical staff mentoring relationship and job satisfaction.Fourth,the proactive personality of medical staff plays an important role between the social psychological guidance and job satisfaction.
