The author through theoretical research on the protection of intangible cultural heritage and the status of current development of Ziyang folk songs in the field survey found that Ziyang folk songs as a national intangible cultural heritage protection in specific problems. The main problems include the spread of Ziyang folk songs in a narrow range,the influence is weak; the economic value of Ziyang folk songs and the lack of attention to the development, development of the local tourism industry and cultural industries to promote the role of small; Ziyang folk songs in grassroots heritage show weakening trend, fewer young people to inherit Ziyang folk songs. Ziyang folk songs inheritance specific needs of information protection.Based on the specific problems found in the investigation of Ziyang folk songs, and the theory of literature in accordance with the protection of intangible cultural heritage,and put forward feasible suggestions on the protection and inheritance of high Ziyang folk songs.
