A Pilot Study On Tourism Chinese Teaching At The Royal University Of Chiang Rai,Thailand

The popularity of foreign language affects the lives of Thai people,in order to adapt to the development of economy and social life,the Thai people actively learn foreign languages.Over the last decades,the economic and cultural exchanges between China and Thailand are getting more closer,young Thailand is very interested in China,Chinese teaching career in Thailand flourished as a "Chinese fever" phenomenon.In addition,China's tourism industry has been achieved rapid growth.In 2015 China became the world's second largest country in tourism revenue,which vigorously promotes exchanges between China and foreign country.Tourism development has greatly stimulated the demand for second language learning.By understanding the long history of Chinese culture,foreign students can learn Chinese in a good way.Tourism Chinese combines travel and Chinese together,it attracts an increasing number of learners and the instructor's attention.Although some universities begun to set up Tourism Chinese special education in Thailand,the research of Tourism Chinese teaching is still in its infancy.The author investigated the Tourism Chinese learning status of Chiang Rai Rajabhat University's students and their teaching feedback.By conducting an in-depth study,the author find out the current teaching problems of Tourism Chinese in Thailand University and provide problem-relevant suggestions and countermeasures,hoping to provide a reference for the development of other Tourism Chinese teaching in Thailand.There are four chapters in this paper,the specific content of each chapter is organized as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,including research background,literature review,objectives and contents,research methods;The second chapter is the investigation part,including the introduction of the Chinese teaching and Tourism Chinese teaching in Chiang Rai Rajabhat University,the content of the survey,survey data and analysis;The third chapter has an in-depth analysis of problems and puts forward opinions and suggestions,;The fourth chapter is the conclusion part,summarizes the research and make research prospects.
